When a big truck goes in for engine work, the windshield is usually the last thing on anyone's mind. But it shouldn't be. A cracked or compromised windshield on a heavy duty commercial truck is a safety issue - full stop. Drivers depend on a clear, structurally sound windshield every single mile they're on the road.

This Mack truck came in with the cab tilted forward for engine repairs, and we were right there handling the glass side of things. That's actually one of the best times to address windshield work - when the truck is already down. No extra downtime, no scheduling headaches. You knock out two things at once.

Heavy duty truck windshields aren't anything like the glass on a standard passenger vehicle. The size, the thickness, the sealing requirements - it's a completely different process. We work on commercial and heavy duty vehicles specifically, so we know what these trucks demand and how to do it right.

A lot of fleet managers and owner-operators don't realize that windshield integrity affects more than just visibility. It ties directly into cab structural strength and driver safety. Skipping it or putting it off isn't worth the risk, especially when your truck is already in the shop getting other work done.

We handle glass on all kinds of heavy duty and commercial vehicles. Mack trucks, dump trucks, utility rigs - if it's a big vehicle, we've got it covered. The goal is always the same: get the driver back on the road with a clear view and a properly sealed windshield that holds up to the demands of the job.
